Mike Tyson May Help Ngannou Prepare For Joshua Fight

Former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson may again help Francis Ngannou prepare for his second professional fight against Anthony Joshua on March 8 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Tyson has joined Ngannou's coaching staff ahead of his debut boxing bout against WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

Dewey Cooper, one of Ngannou's coaches, said in an interview with talkSPORT:

Whatever way Francis wants Mike Tyson to be involved he will be. I love Mike, we go back way before any of this Francis Ngannou-UFC stuff was happening anyway. So, I hope he will come through like he did last time and keep implementing his mentality and technique.

Joshua's last fight was against Otto Wallin in December 2023 in Saudi Arabia. In that fight, Anthony won by technical knockout in the fifth round. He has 27 wins (24 by knockout) and three losses on his record.

Ngannou made his professional ring debut in October 2023. He came out for a bout against WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. This fight lasted the entire distance and ended in Francis' defeat by a split decision of the judges.
