Mike Tyson Explains Why He Agreed To Fight Jake Paul

Former undisputed heavyweight boxing world champion Mike Tyson explained why he agreed to fight with popular blogger Jake Paul. That fight is scheduled to take place on 15 November in Arlington, USA.

MMAWeekly quoted Tyson as saying:

Can I be honest? I don't think he can hurt me. I'm a glory junkie. I love people thinking about me all day,’ he says. ‘I'd rather live a short life of glory than a long life of obscurity. It's just who I am.

Paul last fought against Ryan Bourland in March of this year. In that fight, Jake won by technical knockout in the first round. He has nine wins (six by knockout) and one loss on his record.

Tyson last entered the ring against Roy Jones in an exhibition bout in November 2020. That fight went the full distance and ended in a draw. Mike has 50 wins (44 by knockout) and six losses on his record.
