On June 11 in Mexicali, Mexico, a fight between 2016 Olympics participant Joselito Velasquez of Mexico and his compatriot Juan Toscano took place.
Velasquez defeated Toscano by TKO in the third round, after which Juan's trainer stepped into the ring and attacked the winner. Then, Velasquez knocked out the trainer as well.
Velasquez, 29, had his last fight in December, 2022, when he lost to Cristopher Rosales by unanimous decision. He has 16 wins (16 by knockout) and one loss.
Toscano, 30, defeated Jesus Reyes Cadena by unanimous decision in March 2023. He has 11 wins (two by knockout) and five losses.
