In an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net, South African boxer Thabiso Mchunu shared his opinion that Artur Beterbiev will win against Dmitry Bivol in their upcoming rematch.
Thabiso Mchunu exclusively for Telecom Asia Sport
I think their fight will be quite similar to their previous one. Beterbiev will win. It won't be easy, but he is a bit stronger. Their first match was tough, but Beterbiev was stronger and had more experience than his opponent. It was a very good and interesting fight.
It's worth noting that the rematch between Bivol and Beterbiev is scheduled for February 22 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Beterbiev won their previous fight by decision (114-114, 115-113, 116-112) in October 2024, becoming the undisputed world champion in the light heavyweight division. Bivol boasts 23 wins (12 by knockout) and one loss, while Beterbiev has 21 wins (20 by knockout) and no losses.
