Former UFC two-weight champion Conor McGregor sided with John Gotti III, who got into a scuffle with the famous boxer after his disqualification in an exhibition fight against Floyd Mayweather.
Gotti was disqualified in the sixth round for multiple rule violations. John did not like this decision, saying that he would continue the fight, and then he pushed the referee aside and attacked Floyd. Eventually, the athletes' teams entered the ring, causing a mass brawl. It's worth noting that John is the grandson of famous New York gangster John Gotti.
I back the Gotti’s. The war is on.
McGregor last stepped into the octagon against American Dustin Poirier in July 2021 at UFC 264. In that fight, Conor was defeated by a technical knockout as a result of a broken leg.
Mayweather was in an exhibition bout against Aaron Chalmers in February of this year. Since it was an exhibition bout, no winner was named, but Floyd dominated all eight rounds.
