They tell me that Floyd 'Money' Mayweather will announce an exhibition fight against Víctor 'Vicious' Ortiz for August 24 at the Plaza de Toros Mexico.
Mayweather and Ortiz have previously met in September 2011. Then Floyd won by knockout in the fourth round. He has 50 wins (27 by knockout) and no defeats on his account. Victor has 33 wins (25 by knockout), seven losses and three draws.
Mayweather last entered the ring against MMA fighter John Gotti III in June 2023. Floyd won that fight as a result of his opponent being disqualified for multiple rule violations.
