Former five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather is set to go against John Gotti III, the grandson of the notorious American mobster John Gotti, in the boxing ring once again.
According to insider Michael Benson, the rematch is scheduled for August 24 in Mexico.
The boxers first fought in June 2023, where Gotti was disqualified by the referee in the sixth round for multiple rule violations. John disagreed with the decision and attempted to continue the fight, pushing the referee and charging towards Mayweather, inciting a brawl.
Following this incident, Gotti III was banned by the Athletic Commission for six months.
