WBO super lightweight champion American Teofimo Lopez said he is ready to move up two weight classes to fight Terence Crawford.
Lopez told YouTube channel FightHype.com:
I’m a nutcase. I’ll go right to it. How many times have people done it, and maybe they haven’t succeeded? That’s the beauty of it. The question is, how do you not beat a guy like Terence Crawford? That’s for me to know and y’all to find out when we fight.
On 30 June in Miami, USA, Lopez defeated Steve Claggett by unanimous decision (120-108, 120-108, 119-109). He has 21 wins (13 by knockout) and one loss.
Crawford last fought against Errol Spence in July 2023. This fight Terence won by technical knockout in the ninth round. He has 40 wins (31 by knockout) without a single defeat.
