Egis Klimas, the manager of IBF lightweight champion Vasiliy Lomachenko, announced that the Ukrainian fighter suffered a back injury which forced him to pull out of the fight against WBA champion Gervonta Davis.

If he’s healthy, he’ll fight again.
Davis last fought against Frank Martin in June this year in Las Vegas, where the bout was stopped in the eighth round, resulting in a knockout victory for Gervonta. His record now stands at 30 wins (28 by knockout) and no losses.
Lomachenko's most recent fight was against George Kambosos in March this year, which he won by technical knockout in the 11th round. His current record features 18 wins (12 by knockout) and three losses.
