Former undisputed heavyweight world champion British boxer Lennox Lewis criticized Tyson Fury's performance in the match against Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.
Usyk claimed victory over Fury by split decision in the main event of the boxing evening in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) that took place on the night of May 18-19.
BBC quotes Lewis as saying:
Fury was boxing like he won the fight. No boxer can judge and say they won the fight. Every time a round was close they should look at it like a loss.
Usyk, 37, had his previous fight in August 2023, defeating Daniel Dubois by knockout in the ninth round. He has 22 wins (14 by knockout) without a single defeat on his record.
Fury, 35, previously stepped into the ring in October 2023, beating Francis Ngannou by split decision. He has 34 wins (24 by knockout), one draw and one loss.
