Recall, on May 12, Kambosos lost by knockout in the 11th round to Vasiliy Lomachenko in a fight for the IBF lightweight title.
The 30-year-old Kambosos previously stepped into the ring in July 2023, defeating Maxi Hughes by majority decision. He has 21 wins (ten by knockout) and three losses on his record.
The 35-year-old Lomachenko had his previous fight in May 2023, losing to Devin Haney by unanimous decision. He has 18 wins (12 by knockout) and three losses to his name.
