British boxer Joe Joyce will fight the Chinese Zhang Zhilei on April 15 at the boxing night in London, England.
The news was reported by ESPN, a respected sports channel.
Zhilei, 39, last competed in the ring in August of 2022. That time Zhang lost by unanimous decision to Philip Hrgovic. The fight was a challenger for the IBF world heavyweight title. Altogether the Chinese had 24 wins (19 by KO) and one loss.
Joyce had his last fight against Joseph Parker of New Zealand last September. In that fight Joseph knocked out his opponent in the 11th round. He has 15 wins (14 by knockout) and no defeats under his belt.
