Famous promoter Frank Warren said that a heavyweight bout between Britain's Anthony Joshua and Frenchman Daniel Dubois can take place in the fall in the UK.

Daniel Dubois proved all his doubters wrong and won the IBF 'interim' belt. He hopefully will be fighting AJ in the autumn, we're working on that. He did well. We would love it to be in the UK, they're two Brits, it would be a great fight to put on at Wembley. We do have a press conference later on this month, hopefully then we can make some announcements.
Recall, On the night of June 2 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) Dubois held a fight against Croatian Filip Hrgovic. This fight ended in favor of Dubois by technical knockout after the doctor's stoppage in the eighth round because of Hrgovic's cut. Thus, Daniel became the interim IBF heavyweight world champion.
Joshua last fought in March 2024, defeating former UFC heavyweight division champion Francis Ngannou by knockout in the second round. He has 28 wins (25 by knockout) and three losses on his record.
