Former WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua spoke out regarding his victory over Otto Wallin in the main event of the boxing evening that took place on December 24 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Recall, Joshua defeated Wallin by technical knockout in the fifth round (refusal to continue the fight).
talkSPORT quoted Joshua as saying:
I can't rate my performance. Ben Davison, my performance team, I'll leave it up to them. I am just a gifted fighter that has a special gift and I use it to the best of my ability. I work hard - extremely hard. And if it works, it works and today it was my day, thanks god.
Wallin, 33, last stepped into the ring in September 2023, beating Murat Gassiev by split decision. He has 26 wins (14 by knockout) and two losses.
Joshua in August 2023 defeated Robert Helenius by knockout in the seventh round. The 34-year-old Anthony has 27 wins (24 by knockout) and three losses on his record.
