Joshua Set To Open Nursing Home For Retired Boxers

Former world heavyweight champion British boxer Anthony Joshua is in talks with charity Ringside about opening a retirement home for fighters who have ended their careers.

Joshua told the BBC:

That would be part of my boxing legacy, that I gave something back to the sport that made me.

The Ringside charity was founded to help fighters who are facing difficulties after their careers are over. The foundation's website already lists Joshua as one of its main sponsors.

Joshua, 34, last fought in March 2024, defeating former UFC heavyweight division champion Francis Ngannou by knockout in the second round. He has 28 wins (25 by knockout) and three losses on his record.
