Former world heavyweight champion of Great Britain Anthony Joshua is confident that the fight with American Deontay Wilder will take place in 2023.

This fight will definitely happen. Wilder and I are in the same weight class, in the same era, which means there has to be a fight. 2023 is just around the corner.
Joshua's last fight was against Oleksandr Usyk in August of this year. Anthony lost that fight by split decision. He has 24 wins (22 KOs) and three defeats on his record.
The last time Wilder came to the ring against Finnish boxer Robert Helenius was last October of this year. That fight ended in Deontay's favor by knockout in the first round. He has 43 wins (42 by KO), one draw and two losses.
