Popular influencer and boxer Jake Paul stated that he is close to finalizing a fight against American world champion Gervonta Davis, the WBA lightweight champion.

Paul last fought against Mike Tyson in November 2024. Jake won that fight by unanimous decision. His record stands at 11 wins (seven by knockout) and one loss.
Davis last fought Lamont Roach on March 2 in Brooklyn, USA. In that match, which also went the distance, the judges declared it a majority draw. Gervonta boasts a record of 30 wins (28 by knockout), one draw, and no losses.
