British boxer Moses Itauma hopes to break Mike Tyson's record of becoming the world heavyweight champion at the age of 20 years and 144 days.
Itauma, who turns 20 today, December 28, needs to win the title before May 19, 2025, to break the record.

I wanted to gun down the Tyson record but I'm doing as much as I can on my side and if I can't get it over the line it's not going to be my fault. When I turned professional, I thought if you are good enough to become world champion, you'll become world champion, but that's just not it. People who have already made it wouldn't want to fight me because that's a lose-lose situation. Whoever the opponent is, that's picked by the crowd and picked by the promoters, that's not picked by me
Itauma last fought against Australian boxer Demsey McKean in December this year in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In that bout, which was stopped in the first round, Moses won by knockout. His professional boxing record stands at 11 wins (nine by knockout) and no losses.
