The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has denied former world champion in eight weight categories Manny Pacquiao the opportunity to perform at the Olympic Games 2024 in Paris. This was reported by TASS news agency.
Pacquiao is scheduled to hold an exhibition boxing bout against famous Thai boxer Buakaw Banchamek in January 2024.
Pacquiao last fought against blogger DK Yoo in December 2022. That was an exhibition fight. In this confrontation Pacquiao won by unanimous decision of judges. He has 62 wins (39 by knockout), eight losses and two draws in the professional ring.
