The bout between Naoya Inoue, the undisputed world champion in the super bantamweight division, and Australian boxer Sam Goodman has been rescheduled for January 24. Inoue announced this on his social media.
Originally, the fighters were set to enter the ring on December 24, but Goodman sustained a cut above his eye and requested to postpone the match.
Inoue last fought in September 2024, defeating TJ Doheny by technical knockout in the seventh round. His record stands at 28 wins (25 by knockout) and no losses.
Goodman last stepped into the ring in July 2024, where he won against Thachtana Luangphon by unanimous decision. His record boasts 19 victories (eight by knockout) and no defeats.
