Undisputed world champion in the junior featherweight division, Naoya Inoue, has signed a contract with Turki Alalshikh, the chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, according to Yahoo Japan.
The agreement totals $19.5 million, though details regarding the number of fights and their locations have not been disclosed. According to the deal, the boxer will become the ambassador of Riyadh Season and wear its logo on his shorts in professional matches starting next month.
Inoue's last fight was against TJ Doheny in September of this year in Tokyo. Naoya won by technical knockout in the seventh round. His professional boxing record stands at 28 wins (25 by knockout) and no losses.
