They are both high-class boxers. Everyone will be interested to see what changes Artur will make. I believe that there are some things for Beterbiev to change, and he can make those adjustments. So I can't pick a favorite, it's 50-50. Artur needs to be more diverse and adaptable against Bivol. He has room for improvement. As he himself says, ‘I am still not that good of a boxer.’
As a reminder, in February 2025, Dmitry Bivol defeated Artur Beterbiev by majority decision in their rematch. In October 2024, Beterbiev had won against Bivol by majority decision. The 40-year-old Beterbiev holds a record of 21 wins (20 by knockout) and one loss, while the 34-year-old Bivol boasts 24 wins (12 by knockout) and one loss.
