American UFC fighter Kayla Harrison has stated that she has never taken steroids and has no plans to do so, as she values her reputation.
Harrison said in an interview with ESPN:
I have never taken steroids and I never will. I don't believe in it, especially in our sport it is borderline dangerous when you are inflicting damage on each other. I would never taint my legacy in that way.
Harrison's next fight will be against Ketlen Vieira at UFC 307, scheduled for October 6 in Salt Lake City, USA.
Her last fight was against Holly Holm in April of this year at UFC 300. This match was stopped in the second round, and Kayla won via submission. She currently boasts a record of 17 wins and one loss.
