The fight for the undisputed world lightweight championship title between American boxer Devin Haney and Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko took place on May 21 at MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas (USA).
The fight between Lomachenko and Haney went all the allotted 12 rounds and ended with Devin winning by unanimous decision of the judges.
Lomachenko, 35, had his previous fight against Jamaine Ortiz in October, 2022. In this fight Vasyl won by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 17 wins (11 by knockout) and three losses.
Haney, 24, had previously been in the ring in October, 2022, when he defeated George Cambosos by unanimous decision. He has 30 wins (15 by knockout) and no losses.
