Haney Calls Lomachenko a "Sore Loser" for Filing Appeal

Absolute world lightweight champion Devin Haney has made a harsh statement on his social media about Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko, whose team had filed an appeal against the outcome of their fight the day before.

Devin Haney on his Twitter
This guy is a f------ sore loser. Get this [privileged] sore loser out of boxing. [He] makes excuses as he goes! Take your [loss] like a man & stop crying … it was set up for you to win for the 3rd time in your career & you failed! Tell the commission give me my 400k back for that push!

Recall, the fight between Lomachenko and Haney took place on May 21 in Las Vegas (USA). In this fight, Devin won by unanimous decision of the judges. After the fight, the boxing community showered the judges with criticism. According to most experts, fighters and fans, Vasyl should have won this fight.

A day before, Egis Klimas, the manager of the Ukrainian sent a letter addressed to the heads of WBO, WBA and WBC with a request to keep Lomachenko on the first places in the organizations' rankings, as the boxer's team had already appealed against the outcome of the fight against Haney.
