Fighter John Gotti III, grandson of notorious New York mob boss John Gotti, has been disqualified for six months by the Florida State Athletic Commission following an exhibition fight against Floyd Mayweather.
It was reported by MMAFighting. As a reminder, Gotti was disqualified by the referee in the sixth round for multiple rule violations. John disagreed with the decision and said he would continue the fight, pushing the ref away and attacking Mayweather. This provoked a mass brawl.
Mayweather, 46, faced Aaron Chalmers in an exhibition bout in February of this year. Since it was an exhibition bout, no winner was named, but Floyd dominated all eight rounds.
