WBA regular lightweight champion Gervonta Davis left the stadium during the Super Bowl matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles in a wheelchair.
This was reported by TMZ. The source also said Davis was in a wheelchair because he hurt his ankle and couldn't move around on his own.
Davis had his last fight against Hector Garcia of the Dominican Republic in January of this year. Jervonta won that fight by TKO in the ninth round.
Davis fought last May against fellow countryman Rolando Romero. The fight, which was stopped in the sixth round, ended in Gervonta's favor by knockout. He has 28 wins (26 by KO) and no losses.
