Ryan lost to Gervonta Davis after a hit to the body. He went into the fight with an injury. All I wanted to do was apologize to him for sending him to that fight with an injury. It happened during sparring. And that's why he lost. In our sixth sparring, I hurt him with a punch I was practicing. Ryan went straight to the hospital and I was sent home with half the fee. Yeah, I was immediately fired after that.
Garcia faced Davis in the ring on April 23 in Las Vegas, USA. In that encounter, Ryan was defeated by a seventh-round TKO.
Garcia fought in July 2022 against Dominican Javier Fortuna. That fight, which was stopped in the sixth round, ended in Ryan's favor by TKO. He has 23 wins (18 by KO) and one loss.
