Garcia's Lawyers Name Reasons For His Failed Doping Test Before Fight With Haney

The legal team of famous American boxer Ryan Garcia has made a statement regarding his client's failed doping test before his fight against Devin Haney.

The statement is as follows:

The ultra-low levels of Ostarine detected in his samples, in the billionth of a gram range, along with his clean hair sample proves contamination rather than intentional ingestion. The recent test results reiterate this.

Recall, on April 21, Garcia defeated Devin Haney by decision. On May 1, it became known that Ryan took a positive test for ostarine. Now the result of the fight with Haney can be canceled, and Garcia disqualified and fined.

Garcia, 25, had his previous fight in December 2023, defeating Oscar Duarte Jurado by knockout in the eighth round. He has 25 wins (20 by knockout) and one loss.
