Famous American boxer Ryan Garcia will not be able to participate in his exhibition match against Japanese kickboxer Rukiya Anpo on December 30 in Japan due to a wrist injury. The RIZIN promotion is expected to reschedule the bout for next year.
Ryan Garcia
I’ve been eagerly preparing for my upcoming exhibition fight in Japan, training hard in Dallas over the past several weeks. Unfortunately, I sustained a hand injury during training and returned to Los Angeles to be seen by the doctor, who has advised me to postpone my December 30 exhibition.
Garcia's last fight was against Devin Haney in April of this year. Initially, Ryan won that match by a majority decision. However, he was later disqualified for a year due to a failed doping test, and the result of his fight with Haney was declared a no-contest. Garcia has a record of 24 wins (20 by knockout) and one loss.
