Former interim WBC lightweight world champion Ryan Garcia responded to popular YouTuber Jake Paul's victory over Ryan Bourland.
On March 3rd in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Paul claimed victory by technical knockout in the first round.
Ryan Garcia
I'm going to end this JAKE PAUL BOXING THING. I made a mistake. I can't allow this to happen. He's disrespecting my sport. He's disrespecting everything. I just, I don't know - call my team, Jake.
On April 20th, Garcia will face WBC world champion Devin Haney in the first super-lightweight category. In December 2023, Ryan fought against Oscar Duarte in Houston, USA, winning by knockout in the eighth round. This victory adds to Garcia's record of 24 wins (20 by knockout) and one loss.
