Former WBC interim world boxing champion Ryan Garcia has spoken out about his upcoming fight with WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis.
Ryan Garcia
Davis likes to face guys without a punch, but I'm not like that. When I hit with a left hook, you end up on the floor and fall asleep. Whoever wins this fight will be the new face of boxing, and I truly believe that. I will beat him and I will knock him out.
Recall that the fight between Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis will be held on April 22 in Las Vegas, USA.
Garcia, 24, last fought in July, 2022, when he defeated Javier Fortuna by TKO in the sixth round. He has 23 wins (19 by knockout) and no losses.
Davis, 28, defeated Hector Garcia by TKO in the ninth round in January 2023. He has 28 wins (26 by knockout) and no losses.
