Former interim WBC lightweight champion, American boxer Ryan Garcia has revealed that he is being held in a medical facility.
Garcia wrote on social media:
I’m worried :( I have to be at this weird hospital and they are trying to give me medicine and they have me on a hold for who knows how long, they will determine Pray for me. God help me.
Earlier, Garcia was arrested by officers of the Beverly Hills Police Department for vandalism - the boxer caused about $15,000 worth of damage to the hotel he stayed in.
Garcia last fought against Devin Haney in April of this year as part of an evening of boxing in Brooklyn. Ryan won that fight, which lasted the entire distance, by majority decision of the judges. He has 25 wins (20 by knockout) and one loss in his professional boxing career.
