Former interim WBC lightweight champion Ryan Garcia was arrested by the Beverly Hills Police Department for vandalism.
According to ESPN, citing the local police chief, the boxer caused about $15,000 worth of damage to the hotel. Garcia was charged by the hotel management, arrested and taken to the Beverly Hills Police Department jail. Later, the athlete said he was feeling unwell and was transferred to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre.
Recall, 21 April Garcia defeated Devin Haney by majority decision of the judges. On 1 May it became known that Ryan tested positive for ostarine. Now the result of the fight with Haney may be canceled, and Garcia disqualified and fined. He has 25 wins (20 by knockout) and one defeat on his record.
