WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis and former WBC interim world champion Ryan Garcia had an intense staredown before their fight.
The fight between Davis and Garcia is scheduled for April 22 in Las Vegas. The WBA lightweight title is on the line.
Davis faced Hector Garcia of the Dominican Republic in January of this year. In this fight, Gervonta won by TKO in the ninth round. He has 28 wins (26 KO's) and no defeats under his belt.
Garcia's last fight was against Javier Fortuna of the Dominican Republic. The fight took place last July. The fight, which was stopped in the sixth round, ended in favor of Ryan by TKO. He has 23 wins (19 by knockout) without a single loss.
