Frank Warren, Tyson Fury's co-promoter, has spoken out about former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, who previously lost to Zhilei Zhang.
TalkSport quotes Warren as saying:
He should have hung up his gloves I believe after he fought Tyson. Because those fights took a lot out of him.
The fight between Wilder and Zhang took place in the main event of a boxing night held on the night of June 2 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this fight, which was stopped in the fifth round, Deontay was defeated by knockout. He has 43 wins (42 by knockout), four losses and one draw on his record in professional boxing. Zhang has 27 wins (22 by knockout), two losses and one draw.
The third fight between Fury and Wilder took place in October 2021 in Las Vegas (USA). Then Deontay was defeated by knockout in the 11th round.
