WBC heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury expressed interest in fighting Francis Ngannou in the octagon wearing small gloves.
TalkSPORT quotes Fury as saying:
Tyson Fury
Beyond boxing, after I've done Usyk twice and after I've given him [Ngannou] a good hiding if he wins [versus Joshua], I want to go into the cage with him with small gloves on, 100%. He was chatting s*** about how boxing protects me, and I don't think so. I think I'll smash his face in, in the cage.
Remember that on March 8th in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Ngannou will fight against Anthony Joshua.
Ngannou, 37, made his professional debut against Fury in October 2023. The fight went the distance, with Francis losing by a split decision.
Joshua, 34, last fought Otto Wallin in December 2023 in Saudi Arabia, winning by technical knockout in the fifth round. He has 27 wins (24 by knockout) and three losses on his record.
