WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has revealed that his goal for the near future is to become the highest-paid athlete.
Fury said in an interview to The Sun:
I want to top the Forbes list. Probably will do it this year or next year. The highest paid athlete in the world. That's me, that's the only thing I'm interested in right now.
Fury will next step into the ring against former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou on Boxing Night on October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Fury last fought against Derek Chisora in December 2022. In this confrontation, Tyson won by technical knockout in the tenth round. He has 33 wins (24 by knockout), one draw and no losses.
