At the charity auction after the Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk weigh-in with both fighters in the room, Fury has just bought Usyk's signed replica shorts from the Murat Gassiev fight for $10000.
Recall that on May 18th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Fury and Usyk will fight for the title of the undisputed heavyweight world champion.
The 37-year-old Usyk last stepped into the ring in August 2023, defeating Daniel Dubois by a knockout in the ninth round. He boasts 21 victories (14 by knockout) with no losses to his name.
The 35-year-old Fury's most recent fight took place in October 2023, where he secured a victory over Francis Ngannou by a split decision. Fury holds a record of 34 wins (24 by knockout), one draw and no losses.
