Reigning WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury said that he is not going to retire in the near future.
Michael Benson quotes Tyson Fury on his social networks as saying:
I’m looking to sign another 10-fight deal after this. What am I going to do? ... This makes me f---ing happy fighting. This is all I’ve ever done and all that’s ever made me happy. So it’d be stupid now to walk away from it when I’m making millions of dollars and getting loads of joy from it as well.
Fury will next step into the ring against former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou on Boxing Night on October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Fury last fought against Derek Chisora in December 2022. Tyson won that confrontation by technical knockout in the tenth round. He has 33 wins (24 by knockout), one draw and no losses.
