WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury said he is ready to bet a million pounds on Deontay Wilder knocking out Anthony Joshua if they face each other.
I'd like to see that fight, but I don't think Joshua has the guts to take that fight. That's it, I just don't think he's going to fight somebody who's going to knock him out. I just don't think so, that's my personal opinion. Wilder will definitely knock out Joshua. I'd even bet on it. I'd bet a million pounds on it with anybody.
Wilder last stepped into the ring in October of this year against Robert Helenius. Deontay won that fight by knockout in the first round. The 37-year old Wilder has 43 wins (42 by KO) and three losses.
Joshua's last fight was a rematch against Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk. This fight went the whole distance and ended with the Ukrainian winning by split decision. Joshua, 33, had 24 wins (22 KOs) and three losses.
Fury faced his compatriot Derek Chisora for the third time in his career on December 4 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. Tyson won by TKO in the tenth round over Fury. On the account of 34-years-old Fury 33 wins (24 by knockout) and no defeats.
