WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury spoke out about former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, who will face Anthony Joshua on March 8.
Fury said in an interview with YouTube channel The Stomping Ground:
Tyson Fury
I put him on the map, made him a multi-millionaire, and now I'm making him even more money. So he needs to thank me. He needs to get on his knees and kiss my feet, doesn't he, for what I've done for him. Who will win? I don't know and I don't care, to be honest. The best man will win on the night. They're heavyweight giants, aren't they, so anyone can win.
Ngannou made his professional debut in October 2023 against Tyson Fury, and the fight went the distance, resulting in Ngannou's defeat by split decision.
Joshua's last bout was against Otto Wallin in December 2023 in Saudi Arabia, where he secured a victory by technical knockout in the fifth round. Joshua holds a record of 27 wins (24 by knockout) and three losses.
