WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury commented on his third-round knockdown after defeating former UFC champion Francis Ngannou.
That definitely wasn't in the script. Francis is a hell of a fighter, strong, a big puncher and a lot better boxer than we all thought he would ever be. The knockdown? I was caught behind the head for the knockdown. I got back up and got back to my boxing.
Ngannou and Fury met in the ring in the main event of an evening of boxing held on October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In that confrontation, Francis was defeated by a split decision of the judges.
Fury currently has 34 wins (24 by knockout) and no losses in his professional boxing career. The last fight was Ngannou's debut in the boxing ring.
