Former world champion in the junior middleweight division, Mexican boxer Jaime Munguía, is set to return to the ring on December 14th in his hometown of Tijuana. The opponent for the Mexican fighter will be Frenchman Bruno Surace.
Munguia's last fight was against Erik Bazinyan in September of this year. Jaime won that match by knockout in the tenth round. His professional record stands at 44 wins (35 by knockout) and one loss.
Surace last fought against John Javier Obregon in December 2023. That bout was stopped in the 12th round and ended in favor of Bruno by technical knockout. Surace holds a record of 25 wins (four by knockout), two draws, and no losses.
