Former world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua has shared his opinion on the upcoming fight between WBC champion Tyson Fury and former UFC champion Francis Ngannou.
Three thoughts. It has no business concerning me. It pays me no business. Number two – Why? He should’ve been fighting for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world. Straight up. That’s nonsense. His fault. Three – If we’re acknowledging his business, good luck to the man. Do your thing. If it’s right for him, what’s it got to do with me? That’s my three views on it.
The fight between Fury and Ngannou will take place on October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Fury, 34, boxed against Derek Chisora in December 2022. This fight ended in favor of Tyson by technical knockout. He has 33 wins (24 by knockout), one draw and no defeats.
Ngannou, 36, last fought in January 2022 against Ciryl Gane in the main event of UFC 270. Francis won that confrontation by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 17 wins and three losses in mixed martial arts.
