Former WBO welterweight champion Jeff Horn of Australia has officially announced the end of his boxing career.
Jeff Horn
I've enjoyed my time, that's for sure as a boxer, but now I've got more important work to do. My next fight is definitely my biggest, and it's personal, and it's to try and protect every kid. And I will try to protect them from this bullying by giving lectures at schools and universities.
Horn, 35, last stepped into the ring in August 2020, losing to Tim Tszyu by technical knockout in the eighth round. In July 2017, Horn defeated Manny Pacquiao by unanimous decision and won the WBO welterweight title.
Horn made his professional ring debut in August 2015, defeating Viktor Plotnikov by decision in the seventh round. He has 20 wins (13 by knockout) and three defeats under his belt.
