Former IBF world champion in the junior welterweight division, Puerto Rican Subriel Matías, is set to fight Mexican Roberto Ramirez.
The ten-round bout will headline a boxing event on November 9 at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Bayamón, Puerto Rico.
Matías last fought in June 2024, losing to Liam Paro by unanimous decision. He holds a record of 20 wins (all by knockout) and two defeats.
Ramirez last fought in December 2023, where he won against Rodolfo Flores Moreno by technical knockout in the seventh round. His record includes 26 wins (19 by knockout), three losses, and one draw.
