Former five-weight world champion, American boxer Floyd Mayweather has declared that he continues to be the face of boxing.
Essentiallysports cites Mayweather as saying:
I'm really still the face of boxing. I'm appreciative for guys like Sugar Ray Robinson, Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard - so many guys who paved the way for me. But there's only one Floyd Mayweather. These fighters are not better than me.
Mayweather,46, last fought in a professional ring against former UFC double champion Conor McGregor in August 2017. Mayweather secured a victory in this bout by technical knockout in the tenth round. He boasts 50 wins (27 by knockout) without a single defeat.
