
In London, the official weigh-in ceremony took place ahead of the fight between British middleweights Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn. The bout is set to occur on April 26 at Tottenham Stadium.
Benn weighed in at 156.4 pounds (70.94 kg). In his first attempt, Eubank registered at 160.2 pounds (72.66 kg). When Chris stepped back onto the scales for a second time, his weight was recorded as 160.05 pounds (72.80 kg).
According to journalist Mike Coppinger, Eubank will be fined $500,000 for exceeding the weight limit.
Eubank last fought against Kamil Szeremeta in October 2024. Chris won that match by knockout in the seventh round, securing the vacant IBO middleweight title. His professional record now stands at 34 wins (25 by knockout) and three losses.
Benn's last appearance in the ring was against Peter Dobson in February 2024. That fight went the full distance, concluding with a unanimous decision victory for Conor. He holds a record of 23 wins (14 by knockout) and no defeats.
