IBF welterweight champion, American boxer Jaron Ennis, reacted to the news that former eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao might face WBC champion Mario Barrios.
Ennis said in an interview with the YouTube channel Fight Hub TV:
I don’t know how Pacquiao is coming back and getting a world title shot. But I really don’t care, as long as I can get my hands on all the other belts and be able to unify, then become undisputed. I think it’s crazy that he’s coming back. I mean, it’s a good name to have on your resume. As long as he isn’t in my way
Recall that on the night of July 14 in Philadelphia, Ennis claimed victory over David Avanesyan by technical knockout in the fifth round. He now boasts a record of 32 wins (29 by knockout) and no losses.
